WebBrowser - Updated! Google Chrome 18.0.1010.1 Beta

Think of the Dev channel of Google Chrome as an alpha build, Chrome’s equivalent ofFirefox Aurora. It’s one step forward from the untested nightly builds of Chrome Canary, but it’s still a long way from the finished article, never mind the more reliable beta.

That said, Chrome Dev obviously remains a key part of the Chrome development cycle, as it’s the first release specifically designed for wider public consumption. Unlike Canary, you can’t run Google Chrome Dev side-by-side with the stable, final version, although you could fashion your own clumsy workaround by running Chrome Dev alongside the portable version of Chrome.

If you do go down the Dev path, be prepared to enjoy a much less stable experience, although in return you’ll be testing cutting-edge features that won’t be available to other users for weeks if not months.

What's new in Chrome 18? Very little apart from some bug fixes. Chrome 18 is now based on the Chromium v8 core (3.8.4.1), fixes full-screen issues under Windows, adds support for Native Client under Linux, startup issues on Red Hat Enterprise 6 and more.

Chrome 18 dev build 1010.1 adds improvements to the PDF plugin, including support for ‘Rotate Clockwise’ and ‘Rotate Counterclockwise’ commands to context menus, so users can more easily view documents scanned horizontally.

If you're a Linux user interested in Native Client support, or an experienced user, then try the latest Chrome dev build.

WebBrowser - Download Mozilla Firefox 10 Final For Windows, Linux, & Mac OS X

Download Mozilla Firefox 10 Final For Windows, Linux, & Mac OS X  – NDI. Mozilla team did not take too long to release an upgraded version of Mozilla Firefox. In fact, they have followed an interval of 5 to 6 weeks between two upgrades as we see previous 5 upgrades. The previous version was 9, so the present is 10. Mozilla has not started the upgrade delivery through official channel but this final Mozilla Firefox 10 is available on their servers. At the moment, you can not get this upgrade from Firefox internal update system, too. You need to download Mozilla Firefox 10 from the given download links below. But if you want to wait for its official release, It could be anytime coming to official download. I have already upgraded to Firefox 10 and this article is being written using it. So You can know about Download Mozilla Firefox 10 Final For Windows, Linux, & Mac OS X .

Visually, it seems that there is nothing changed from Firefox 9 to Firefox 10. It has followed the same interface from Firefox 8. They said that Forward button will be hidden unless the user go back to previous page. But I see this button is only inactive on final webpage. It only activates when I go to previous webpage. It is not hidden.
In previous versions, add-ons compatibility was big issue. Many add-ons stopped working when Firefox upgraded. With the release of Firefox 10, they have tried to overcome this add-ons incompatibility issue. I remember, upgrading from Firefox 8 to 9 did not let me use 4 or 5 installed add-ons showing them incompatible. But now, only one add-ons AVG LinkScanner was incompatible with Firefox 10. And also this time all the plugins are working fine.
With the help of new JavaScript API, HTML5 videos or games will be able to be displayed in full screen mode. CSS3 3D Transforms technique let you flip, rotate the the videos and images. Anti-Aliasing support will give you smoother graphics and it will be helpful when using WebGL to design User Interface elements.
Firefox 10 will particularly appeal to web developers, with a number of new features making their debut in the Beta. The most notable is an Inspect option that allows developers to visually inspect pages with the help of a Highlighter tool that makes checking a page’s CSS and HTML code that much easier. This feature, originally planned for Firefox 4, has been overhauled since its release was postponed earlier in the year. And the good news for developers is that more is to follow.
Note that Firefox 10 is now final and in the stable channel. Performance gains are always welcome, but in terms of look and new features there’s nothing new in Firefox 10 to justify such a major version number upgrade.
